Eleven Months Spent On My Book

May 24th marked 11 months since I started working the novel I've talked about lately, and I thought I'd take a moment to share a few things about how that's been going.
Over 11 months, I've gone through nearly 10 (or more) iterations of the story and written 7,000 words, most of which probably won't make it into the finished manuscript. But that's okay. It's part of the process.
I've written numerous posts and one article about the art and business of #storytelling on here on LinkedIn, and just this past week I really got my X (@GabrielSusBooks) going after several mostly-dormant months.
Also, Anna Sorokin (Delvey) liked something I wrote on X a couple of days ago—which, considering I've been writing a novel about a scammer the cost of living a lie, seems rather ironic. Crucially, my book is also about how all people—even these people don't like and the internet seems to love to hate—have dignity.
So that's where things stand this Tuesday.
